On June 5th & 6th, my chithappa's marriage was held.
I gave a performance in my keyboard for the reception that was held on 5th evening 6:30pm.
It went good.
Totally I played around 7 songs.
One song I accompanied my sister, as she was singing I played my keyboard.

My performance!!!
Hi,
The below link shows my Keyboard Performance on Dec 15th, 2007 at Park Sheraton in a Function conducted for World Bank(my father's office) Staff.
There are totally 3 songs played by him. The 1st song (enna thavam seithanai...) had some audio disturbance, which is later corrected for rest of the songs.

Music
I would like to speak about my music career. I was very much interested in music. My Uncle was in U.S at 2001. I asked him a keyboard and he bought me a toy one. It was my favourite and I always sat with it. I loved it a lot. I started composing some tunes pressing some buttons. After that my father bought a little bigger keyboard. I composed many more songs.
Then my father on knowing my talent on music joined me in a near by music school at 2004 June, which was not so good. They didn't give very good coaching. Six months were wasted in that school. Then I began to search for a new music school. I found a keyboard coaching centre called Swaralayam that seemed very good and they sent for grade exams in Trinity Music college, London. I joined there at Nov 2004 and 1 year they thought me the basics and I became familiar with it.
Swaralayam has a yearly programme called Bala Uthsav. It was held on Jan 06. Swaralayam kids put up their show on the stage and it was also a competition. It was my first time stage performance. I was so tensed and I did some mistakes while playing and I didn't win any prizes. I didn't take it so seriously. It was the first time so I thought I could do it next time. I didn't lose my hope. On may 06 I wrote the first grade in theory of music held by the Trinity music college. I wrote it well and scored 85% in the same. It was a distinction mark. Next on the Nov of the same year I did my practicals 1st grade in Electronic keyboard and I scored 86% which was a very tough mark that can be scored in practicals. It was the third highest mark scored by me among the candidates who appeared from our music school. It was a very nice experience I played in front of a person who came from London. It was my achievments in 2006.
Let me move on to the next year 2007. 2007 Jan a carnatic grade exam called Nada Gandharva was held. I wrote 2nd Grade in it. The results were out on the day of Bala uthsav. 2007 Feb again the Bala Uthsav was held and I also played a song. This time the competition was like this. They selected six as the best and among them one was selected as the best performer. I played with little mistakes. The results were told by the judge and I was one of the best six. I was really entranced. I also got the best performer of the year 06' for scoring 86% in practicals. I scored 88% in Nada Gandharva Carnatic grade exam. Then again on May I wrote the Trinity theory of Music grade exam. This time I skipped 2nd grade and wrote 3rd grade and got 84% which was the third highst mark gained in my music school by my grade candidates. Then on Oct 07 I did the practicals grade 2 in which I scored 76%. This was the lowest mark I had got. The person who came from London was so strict in marking. So it was very tough to score good marks. I was the second highest rank holder in my music school. I also got fame in my school also. So I was called to accompany a choir group who was going for a competition in Vanavani. Mat. Hr. Sec. School, a school situated in the IIT campus. I played for a Bharathiyar song and got first prize in it. I played without any fear and didn't do an mistakes. I was so happy. Next followed by this I played for a new year party in world bank (father's office). I got scope here also.It was very good and I was appreciated by everyone . I can say this year is a lucky year for me. Everything I did in music I met with SUCCESS!!!!
Next year 2008 I again played for my third time in the Bala uthsav 08'. It was a nice time. This time we were divided into 6 groups A to F as per age and skill. I was in Group E. As usual I played the song enjoying myself and judges told that it was a good attitude and advised all the other participants to follow the same.
This time the mark sheet was given to the parents also and the judge also gave their marks. After I finished the song, the auditorium was full of claps.
I was really proud. After everyone finished playing their wonderful melodies, we were eagerly waiting for te results. The result was in group E S. Kousik is given the highest grade by the judgesand also by the audience. And I got an audio CD of the film "Satrumun kidaitha thagaval" which is music directed by my Keyboard sir. I was really proud. Now this year May 10th I am going to write Grade 5 theory of music. I am preparing for it hard.
The main reason for all my success is my parents. They gave me the opportunity show my talents and joined me in a good music school. Then next I should say about my keyboard master Balu, who is a kind and a very good natured man. I owe all my prizes to them. Thank you my Father, Mother and my master.
